Machine Display

To access this screen:

  • Once operational settings have been defined, select the Format ribbon, then select Schedule >> Machines.

The Machine Display screen is used to control when a machine or machines are displayed within a period.

This feature works in conjunction with the Display settings defined on the Machine Classes screen.

Displaying Machine Locations In The 3D Window

The location of any machine can be displayed at any time within the schedule.

By defining the Display parameters on the Machine Class screen, the Machine Class symbol is displayed in the 3D window for the selected block outline once the relevant activity (for example loading) for the machine has been scheduled.

This icon is placed at the block’s centre of gravity.

The date and time window in which the machine or machines are displayed for a selected period is controlled by the settings defined on the Machine Display screen.

Note: The machine’s display date and time window is defined by using either the Date and Time controls or the slider bar controls listed below.

Activity steps:

  1. Display the Machine Display screen.
  2. In From, select the From Date and Time values.
  3. In To, select the To Date and Time values.
  4. Select Lock to lock the positions of the slider bars relative to one another, if required.
    • As an alternative to From Time, use the top slider bar to define the time value.
    • As an alternative to To Time, use the bottom slider bar to define the time value.
  5. To animate and give the effect of machines moving between blocks, select Animate (this is only available after a time interval has been set using the From and To controls and Lock has been selected).
  6. In Machine Type Class Tree, check the required machine type and class items to be displayed for the defined date and time window.

Note: If a Machine Type is enabled then all Machine Classes within that Machine Type are shown, provided they have been enabled.
