Machines: New Type

To access this screen:

• On the Machines screen, click Add.

The Machines: New Type screen is used to add, edit and delete Machine Classes for the selected Machine Type.

Activity steps:

1. Display the Machines: New Type screen.
2. In Machine Type Name, enter a unique name for the new machine type (limited to 8 characters).
3. In Classes, select an existing machine class to edit or delete it.
4. To add a new machine class, click Add, then define its settings on the Machine Classes screen.
   • To edit the selected class settings, click Edit.
   • To delete the selected machine class, click Delete.
   • To copy the selected machine class, click Copy.
5. Click OK to save changes and close the screen, or click Cancel to close the screen without saving changes.
