Create stockpile string and wireframe models using the Design Utility |
Stockpile Design
To access this dialog use one of the following:
The Stockpile Design Utility dialog is used to define stockpile design parameters, create a stockpile model by individual lifts and then output the resultant string and wireframe models to file.
Following similar processes Dump and Stockpile models are created for use in the Destinations by first designing the lifts, this takes a base string and projects up based on settings such as berm width and slope angles.
Once the dump or stockpile shapes are defined cutting strings should be created before opening ‘Evaluate’ in order to slice the designed wireframes into dump/stockpile blocks.
Once blocks are created Sequence is run to define the entry points onto each level of the model as well as the block fill order. For stockpiles this is where the main difference occurs as it has a reclaim order as well as a fill order. EFH factor controls the fill/reclaim sequence created by giving greater weight to upward moves compared to horizontal.
The outputs will be a definition file, this contains the volumes of each block along with other information, a strings file containing the dump block outline and a set of wireframe files to show the shape.
This utility is used for both Dump and Stockpile design. |
