dependency-apply-defaults ("ddf")

To access this command:

Display the Dependencies planning task and choose Edit >> Apply Defaults.

Using the command line, enter "dependency-apply-defaults"

Use the quick key combination "ddf".

Display the Find Command screen, locate dependency-apply-defaults and click Run.
Command Overview
Interactively pick dependencies displayed dependencies in the 3D window to apply the specified Dependency Defaults settings. These settings are found in the Manual dependency editing command group of the Dependencies planning task.
For example, you can pick one or more activities to change activity relationships so that a Start-Start relationship is set with a given activity lag. You can also use the dependency-apply-defaults command to assign activities to a particular dependency layer.
Command Steps:
- Display the Dependencies panel.
- Load dependency data using the button at the top of the task.
- Run the command.
- Pick one or more activities in the 3D window. Picked activities are updated so they carry the specified default values, including:
- Dependency layer.
- Start-finish relationship with predecessor activity.
- Activity lag, if any.

- Click Done to complete activity update mode.
