dependency-draw-continuous ("ddc")

See this command in the command table.

To access this command:

  • Display the Dependencies planning task and choose Edit >> Draw Continuous.

  • Using the command line, enter "dependency-draw-continuous "

  • Use the quick key combination "ddc".

  • Display the Find Command screen, locate dependency-draw-continuous and click Run.

Command Overview

Define new dependencies by digitizing in the 3D window. Choose an initial 'from' activity with each subsequent selection chaining dependencies together.

Command Steps:

  1. Display the Dependencies panel.
  2. Load dependency data using the button at the top of the task.
  3. Run the command.
  4. Left-click to pick the initial predecessor activity point in the 3D window.

  5. Pick the successor activity points in order in the 3D window. You'll see a pink dependency line appear as you digitize new points.

    All dependencies are formed using the specified Dependency Defaults at the location specified.
