dependency-draw-discrete ("ddd")

See this command in the command table.

To access this command:

  • Display the Dependencies planning task and choose Edit >> Draw Discrete.

  • Using the command line, enter "dependency-draw-discrete"

  • Use the quick key combination "ddd".

  • Display the Find Command screen, locate dependency-draw-discrete and click Run.

Command Overview

Define new dependencies by choosing separate 'from' and 'to' activity pairs interactively in the 3D window.

Command Steps:

  1. Display the Dependencies panel.
  2. Load dependency data using the button at the top of the task.
  3. Run the command.
  4. Left-click to pick the predecessor activity point in the 3D window.

  5. Pick the successor activity in the 3D window. You'll see a pink dependency line stretch between the two points.

    A dependency is formed using the specified Dependency Defaults at the location specified.
