dependency-reverse ("dre")

See this command in the command table.

To access this command:

• Display the Dependencies planning task and choose Edit >> Reverse.

• Using the command line, enter "dependency-reverse"

• Use the quick key combination "dre".

• Display the Find Command screen, locate dependency-reverse and click Run.

Command Overview

Reverse a dependency in the 3D view, swapping its 'from' and 'to' positions (essentially, swapping the predecessor and successor of each affected activity).

Command Steps:

1. Display the Dependencies panel.
2. Load dependency data using the button at the top of the task.
3. Run the command.

4. Pick an existing dependency in the 3D window.

   The dependency direction is swapped, reversing the previous order of dependency effect.

5. Left or right-click to update the dependency.
