Tables
Tables are used by many components in Supervisor, including Libraries and Data Components. Tables contain source data, result data or input data.
Table Layout and Colours
A display window usually has one or two tables. A table may also be combined with a graphical output. When there are two tables they are often related, with the bottom table displaying data related to the cells selected in the top table, such as in the Load Summary Window.
Tip: Select multiple (or all) rows in the main table to show all of their related rows in the sub-table.
The text and background colour of cells within a table indicates their status and whether you can edit their contents. Table colours can be any of the following.
- Yellow background – Warning. There is a warning or error message associated with the cell.
- Green background – Out of date. The table needs to be updated. See Update Components.
- Pink background – Frozen. These cells cannot be moved or altered.
- Blue text – Cell is read-only.
- Black text – Cell can be edited.
