Set a Global Topcut Value
Global Topcut Analysis components can only be inserted below assays in the Project Tree. The topcut values can be selected individually on each graph and averaged, or linked and selected all at once.
Activity Steps
- Select the Global Topcut Analysis component in the Project Tree.
- In the Property Panel, select the Global Topcut tab.
- Select whether to Link Topcuts. This changes the topcuts on all graphs simultaneously if one is changed.
Note: If the graphs are not linked, the Average Topcut value is used.
- Enter the Decimals in Statistics to be used.
- Click and drag the topcut lines on each of the graphs to the desired value.
Tip:
Double-click any of the graphs to enlarge them. Double-click again to return to the view with all four graphs.
All cut samples are highlighted in red in the 3D Viewer.
- Click Apply Topcut.
The applied topcut value displays in the Max field in the assay property panel in the Filter and Data Window.
Notes:
Supervisor always ignores any previously applied maximum or topcut filters when calculating new topcut filters. Topcut analysis always uses the entire raw dataset.
All global topcut components can be exported together by right-clicking the Global Topcut Analysis component and selecting Export » Export global topcut statistics to csv from the menu.
