Configure Rotation Properties

The Rotation tab controls the properties of the type of rotation that is calculated for a stand alone Rotation component. For variogram rotation components, see Configure Variogram Rotation Properties.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Rotation component from the Project Tree.
2. Select the Rotation tab from the Property Panel.
3. Configure the following options as required.
   • Compatibility – Select a compatible software option to fill the following options with pre-set conventions. The fields can be altered after selecting an option, but the results may not work.
   • Rotation Type – Available Euler angles.
   • Dir 1 Axis – The original orientation of Direction 1 (direction of greatest continuity) before any rotation has taken place.
   • Z – Rotation value for the Z direction.
   • X
   • Y
