Working with Results in Workbook after Scheme or Surrogate Limit Assessment
After scheme or surrogate limit assessment takes place, various pathways exist where the assessment does not pass.
- Enumerations related to Core Specification Statuses
- Enumerations related to User Specification Statuses
- Enumerations related to Core QC Statuses
- Enumerations related to User QC Statuses
- Overwriting a Result in a Workbook Session
- Requesting a Repeat Analysis in a Workbook Session
- Ignoring a Composite QC Failure in a Workbook Session
- Forcing the Reassessment of Results in a Workbook Session
- Releasing Results in a Workbook Session
- Validating Results in a Workbook Session
Ignoring Failures on a Composite QC Status
A sample scheme analyte's Scheme Limit Status rolls into its Composite QC Status.
When a sample scheme analyte's Scheme Limit Status is Upper Failure, Lower Failure, Trend Failure (* possible to be set via Script) or Failure(* possible to be set via Script), then the sample scheme analyte's Composite QC Status is set to Failure.
If a sample scheme analyte's Composite QC Status is Failure, the sample scheme analyte cannot be validated. In this situation, the execution of an Ignore QC process means that the result can proceed to validation. During this process:
- The process only proceeds if the ALLOW_IGNORE_QC_FAILURES application preference is set.
- The operator needs to provide a reason for the ignore action which is audited.
- The sample scheme analyte's Scheme Limit Status remains unchanged.
- The sample scheme analyte's Composite QC Status changes from Failure to Ignore Failure.
