Overwriting a Result in a Workbook Session
Overview
Once a result is entered, it can be overwritten in some circumstances. Sometimes, a workbook cell is locked as soon as a result is entered, based upon the system-determined workflow status.
Refer to:
If the sample scheme analyte already has a result, its Workflow Status could be Check or Analysed, and if the workflow statuses contained in the preference includes these, then the cell is locked.
Process
When a sample scheme analyte's result is overwritten, then:
-
Analysed Date and Analysed By are set on the sample scheme analyte, sample scheme, sample, job, job scheme analyte and job scheme
-
Any dates and users associated with the setting of higher workflow statuses are cleared, that is, if the sample scheme analyte was previously released, then Released Date and Released By are cleared on the sample scheme analyte, sample scheme, sample, job, job scheme analyte and job scheme
If the sample scheme analyte was previously completed/validated, then:
-
Validated Date and Validated By are cleared on the sample scheme analyte, sample and job
-
Completed Date and Completed By are cleared on the sample scheme, sample, job, job scheme analyte and job scheme.
