Enter As-Built Data for Holes

If holes were not charged as planned, you can edit the decks for each hole as required.

Activity Steps

  1. Select the Charge module.
  2. Select a charge pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree.

    The pattern displays in the Viewport.

  3. Ensure that the pattern is the active pattern. See Make a Pattern Active.
  4. To limit the data entry to a subset of the holes in the charge pattern, select the holes. See Select Objects in the Viewport.
  5. On the Charge Loading Ribbon Menu, click Enter Hole As-Built Data.

    The holes display as a list in the left panel. The planned deck layout of the selected hole in the list displays in the middle panel. The right panel is for as-built data entry.

  6. For each deck in each hole:
    1. Select the Operator from the defined operators. See Maintain Operators.
    2. Select the Equipment from the defined trucks. See Maintain Mobile Processing Units (MPUs) and Maintain Stemming Trucks.
    3. Update the Time if required.
    4. For a bulk explosive, packaged explosive, aggregate material or gas bag, select the required product from the list of defined products of that type. See Product Maintenance.
    5. Drag the Bulk, PE, Aggregate, Gas Bag, Air, Water or Drill Cuttings button to the hole layout diagram.

      The Deck Dimensions screen displays.

    6. Enter dimensions for the deck as required for the deck type:
      • Deck Length—Not applicable to bulk explosives.
      • Loaded Amount—Only applicable to bulk and packaged explosives.
      • Top of Deck—Measured from the top of the hole, which is considered to be at 0 m.
      • Bottom of Deck—Measured from the top of the hole.

      Note: For a bulk explosive, at least two dimensions are required. For a packaged explosive, at least two length dimensions are required. Remaining dimensions are calculated.

    7. Click OK.
    8. Select the deck in the hole layout diagram to view calculated values and update details if required.
  7. To delete a deck, select the deck in the hole layout diagram and press Delete (on your keyboard).
  8. Click Save Changes.
  9. On the Hole As-Built Data ribbon menu, click Return to Charge.
