Enter Stocktake Data
In a stocktake, you update the inventory level of one or more products at a stock point. To facilitate data collection on site, you can Generate and Print a Stocktake Sheet.
Activity Steps
- On the DataBlast Application Menu, select Inventory.The Inventory screen displays. 
- Select a stock point node in the DataBlast Items Tree of the Inventory screen.The products at the stock point display in the top table. Note: You can only enter stocktake data for one stock point at a time. 
- Click Stocktake Entry.The Stocktake screen displays. 
- Select the Date/Time. This field is read-only after data is entered for any product.
- Select the operator that the stocktake is Authorised By from the defined operators who have the Shotfirer or Magazine Keeper competency. See Maintain Operators. Read-only after data is entered for any product.
- Update the Stock Count for each product as required.Note: If you leave the Stock Count blank for a product, no stocktake record is created for the product. DataBlast Pro updates the Adjustment. 
- If there is an Adjustment for a product, enter a Comment.
- Click Accept.Tip: If Accept is not enabled, click outside the last entered comment. If the inventory level does not match the previously recorded Quantity on Hand for each product, DataBlast Pro creates a Stocktake record for the product. Stocktake records are highlighted in red. Stocktake records can be edited. See Record Stock Movement.
