Set Destination Delays
To access this screen:
-
Destinations Settings screen >> Internal Delays tab.
Use the Internal Delays screen to set rules that Datamine Task Scheduleruses to insert an internal delay for a selected Stockpile or Dump destination. Datamine Task Scheduler saves these settings against each destination.
An internal delay is a planned delay that Datamine Task Scheduler can add when the time lost at the destination becomes significant.
Activity steps:
-
Open Destination Settings.
-
Using the menu on the left, select the Stockpile or Dump destination that you want to configure.
-
Select the Internal Delays tab.
-
This screen contains a table with the following columns. A new row is created each time a delay is configured.
-
In Threshold, enter the minimum delay that must occur at this destination before Datamine Task Scheduler inserts an internal delay.
-
If the delay is less than Threshold, DTS does not insert an internal delay.
-
If the delay is equal to, or greater than, Threshold, Datamine Task Scheduler inserts an internal delay.
Note: Use the same time unit that you use for destination timing values in your schedule.
-
In Generate Task, select the task batch that contains the internal delay task that DTS must use. These were created on the Generate Work Packages/Tasks screen.
-
In Insert Delay, enter the delay value that DTS must insert when the Threshold is met or exceeded.
-
-
-
To add another delay for the same destination, press <ENTER>.
-
Click OK to update your schedule settings.
-
Save your changes.
