Add Destination Details

The following activity describes the steps taken to define general details for a destination. This is all done using the Destination Details screen.

Activity steps:

  1. Display the Destinations Settings screen.

  2. Select the Details tab.

  3. In the Details section, enter a Description of the destination.

  4. Enter the destination's Total Capacity in the selected units (default = Tons, but you can select any production field.

  5. (Stockpiles only) Select the Extraction Calendar for the stockpile (or use the <Standard> calendar.

  6. (Stockpiles only) Select the Default Extraction Rate, expressed in the format of value/time unit, for example, 150/d (150 tonnes per day) and specify where the material is going using Extract to (all plant and dump destinations are listed here).

  7. (Stockpiles only) You can also extract to a replaceable destination by picking it with Extract to (generic).

  8. (Stockpiles only) Set scheduling constraints using the Schedule when list. By default, Any time is selected, meaning no constraints apply. You can choose:

    • Is scheduled – Select any Task Filter to only permit reclaim as part of a selected task. Select All Tasks to force the same behaviour as selecting Any time.

    • Is not scheduled – Permit reclaim at any time other than activities relating to the selected task filter. Use All tasks to effectively block reclaim during production.

Note: In either case, you can also select a <Flowchart filter> to constrain reclaim. See Flowchart Home Ribbon.

  9. Use the Accept Material From controls to determine which category (or categories) of material can be consumed by the destination, and as part of which scheduled task.

    • Filter – Select a task filter that can give rise to material uptake.

    • Accept – For one or more Material Category items, check to allow the material to be accepted by the destination or uncheck to prohibit it.

  10. Define Haulage settings for the destination:

    • Specify the Road Network Node that this destination connects to.

    • Enter a Queuing time. This is additional time to be added to a haulage cycle.

    • Enter a Spotting time. As above, this is added to the cycle time.
