Interface
The interface of the Border analysis tool is based on four sections:
The Input and Parameters sections can be "minimized" using the dedicated button.
The Border analysis allows to calculate several statistical representations grouped by perspective:
- Contact analysis: to show how a grade variable varies at the proximity of a contact and define the type of contact (hard or soft) between one domain and the others.
- Transition probabilities: to define the connectivity between two domains by measuring the probability to enter a domain B when leaving a domain A.
- Border effect: to evaluate the impact of the domaining on the spatial variability of a grade variable.
- H-scatter: to analyze the spatial continuity of the grade variable.
Each perspective will produce one or several graphical representations.
