Import Related Data
Some data relating to your assets cannot be imported from the LandTrack data service because it is not made available by, or does not relate to, the relevant state's Mines Department.
This includes:
- WA rates
- Rent, expenditure, and dealings from jurisdictions outside of WA
- Agreements related data tables
- Custom tables
You can import these records into LandTracker in bulk by copy-and-pasting from an predefined spreadsheet.
Activity Steps
-
In LandTracker, on the Dashboard, click View ... (tenements, agreements, or environmental data).
-
In the view pane on the left, expand the Related Data Types node and click All ...
The data grid displays the data of the data type you have selected.
- Prepare the data in your spreadsheet to match the related data type:
Expand all columns so that actual numbers and dates are shown in columns.
Note: If you see ##### in your spreadsheet, it copy and pastes as that.
Arrange the columns in the same order as the LandTracker data grid that you are pasting into.
Ensure the Parent column is in the same format as LandTracker. For example, Name, Code, or Name-Code.
Note: The parent values must be identical to how they display in LandTracker, including spaces and symbols.
- In your spreadsheet, copy the data (not including headers).
- In the LandTracker data grid, right-click the first empty cell and click Paste in the menu.
-
Save or Save and Close.
Note: For records to display correctly and link to tenements, the tenements must already be imported into LandTracker.
