Import Tenements From Data Service
In LandTracker, you may import any number of tenements available in the LandTrack data service. These tenements are kept current with information available from the mines departments when you Update from LandTrack Data Service.
For tenements not available within the LandTrack Data Service, you can Add Tenements Manually.
To import tenements by search:

On the Dashboard in the Tenements module, click Import Tenements.
The Import Tenements window displays. It is divided into a search area, group assignment area, and results grid.
- Select a Search Type from:
Applied For Tenements—Tenements applied for within a selected date range.
Note: The date range refers to the mark-out-date. If there is no mark-out-date, it refers to the date the application was received.
- Granted Tenements—Tenements granted within the selected date range.
- Expiring Tenements—Tenements with an expiry date within the selected date range.
- Current Tenements—All current tenements.
Holder Search—Searches text written in holder(s). To search multiple holders, separate by commas, do not add a space after comma.
Note: All searches can be filtered by tenement type (P,M,E) and/or jurisdiction.
When filtering for multiple tenement types, separate by comma and do not put a space after comma.

Click Search.
The result grid displays tenements from the LandTrack Data Service that match your search request.
Note: A validation column displays whether any tenements are already in LandTracker, or if errors were found. To see error details, click View Errors.

To assign groups to the tenements you are importing:

under Assign To Group(s), click Select.
A menu displays all available groups.
- Hover over the group type in the menu and select the required group(s).

Click OK.
The selected groups show under Assign To Group(s).
Note: Tenements that are members of combined reporting groups are automatically added to those groups.

Choose from the following options:
- To import a selection of tenements, highlight the tenements in the result grid, Click Import.
- To delete this search and start again, click Clear Search.

To import all validated tenements in the result grid, click Bulk Import.
Note: Bulk import is useful when importing large numbers of tenements (>500).
Important: Bulk import does not display a Change Tracking screen. A message box displays the number of tenements to be imported, click OK.
- Review updates in change tracker and click Save Updates.
To import tenements from list:

On the Dashboard, in the Tenements module, click Import Tenements.
The Import Tenements window displays.
- Enter or copy and paste the Tenement ID and Jurisdiction into the result grid.

Click Validate Tenements.
The data grid displays the details available of the tenements entered.
Note: An error message displays in the validation column if the tenement can not be found.

To assign groups to the tenements you are importing:
- Under Assign To Group(s), click Select.
- Hover over the applicable area in the drop-down menu, tick the check box of the necessary group(s).

Click OK.
The selected groups display under Assign To Group(s).
Note: Tenements that are members of are automatically added to those groups.

Choose from the following options:

- Review updates in change tracker and click Save Updates.
To import dead tenements:
Note: You must know the number of the tenement(s) to import, and whether it is pre or post 2006. This can be confirmed on Mineral Titles Online.
- On the Dashboard, in the Tenements module, click View Tenements.

Expand the Tenement Types node and select from:
- All Exploration Licence (WA) Post 2006

All Exploration Licence (WA) Pre 2006

On the data grid, in an empty row, enter the following data:
- Name—Enter the Tenement ID.

Data Source—Enter TenementDS.
Note: If the data source column is hidden, display it by the following steps:
- Right-click the select-all cog of the data grid.
- Hover over Select Columns.
- Hover over Other Columns.
- Tick Data Source.
- Click OK.

Jurisdiction—Enter WA.

Code—Enter the tenement code.
Important: The format of the code includes a double-space after the E and a 0 before the 4 digits following the slash, remove the slash. Example:
- Tenement ID—
E04/2688
- Tenement Code—
E 0402688
- Tenement ID—
- Click Save and Close.
- To pull the rest of the data from Mineral Titles Online, Update from LandTrack Data Service.
