Specify Crown Dilution
Crown dilution can be specified if you are defining dilution settings of a Prism framework.
This type of dilution limits how much waste may be introduced when the optimiser adjusts the stope crown through convex refinement, trough overcut, or variable stope height.
The Crown Dilution setting (on the Dilution screen) defines the maximum amount of dilution allowed at the stope crown (upper surface).
Typically, you would adjust this to a lower value to more tightly control hangingwall dilution. Higher values are useful where ore continuity near the crown justifies additional extraction.
Note: Crown dilution is a local control and applies only to the upper portion of the stope.
