Find Service Trips

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to view the Barge Explorer security right in the Menu user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the Barge Explorer.
  2. Select the Timetable tab.
  3. Enter the following search criteria as required.
    • Date Range—Limit the search by Activated Date, which is the ATA or ETA of the barge at the first location in the barge route. The date selector has the following options:
      • Month—Select a single month of a selected calendar year.
      • Quarter—Select a single quarter of a selected calendar year.
      • Year—Select a single calendar year.
      • Date Range—Specify any start and end date. Default: The two months prior to the current system date.
      • Today—Set the date range to the current date.
      • Clear—Ignore the date range as a search criterion.
    • Routes—Select from the barge routes defined on the Transport panel of the Solution Explorer.
    • Organisation—Limit the search by despatch orders associated with service trips. Select from the organisations and companies defined on the Organisations panel of the Solution Explorer.
  4. To include a text string in the search criteria:
    1. Select the method to Search By from Service Trip, Shipment, Bulk Vessel, Barge and Tug.
    2. Enter the Search Text. Text searches are case-sensitive with SQL databases with a case-sensitive collation and with all Oracle databases.
  5. Click Search or press F3.

    Note: You can save search criteria as a search profile. Search profiles for the Barge Explorer include all criteria except a selected Date Range. See Use Saved Search Profiles in MineMarket Explorers and Billboards.

  6. To view the route or logistics summary of a service trip, select the service trip. See View the Logistics Summary of a Despatch.
  7. To edit a service trip or view more details, double-click the service trip.

    The Service Trip displays.
