Choose a Solution

When the Datamine application you are starting is licensed as part of a solution, the selected solution will depend upon:

• The number of solutions containing a license for the program.

• The settings in the Preferred Solutions tab.

One Solution

If there is only one solution available which contains the program, that solution will be locked automatically.

Several Solutions but no Preferred Solutions

If there are several solutions available containing the desired program, you will see a list from which to select the solution to be used.

With Preferred Solutions

Preferred Solutions can be specified in the License Manager on any client computer. Your software will use the license of the first solution that meets the naming criterion defined using the Preferred Solutions tab
