Mine and Area Configuration

To access this screen:

  • In the Settings dialog, select the Mine and Area tab.

Studio Mapper relies on the selection of a Current Mine and Current Area. All subsequent maps will be created within this data context until it is changed.

The Project Data bar reflects the currently connected database contents for the current mine and area only. Changing the current mine or area will automatically update the view of the control bar.

The Mine and Area tab is used to both select the current data context and create new mines and areas as required. New items will be added to the current database.

Note: The mine and area are used to define the scope of data for export.

Note: Changes to your mine and area configuration may need to be committed to your central database, if one is configured.
