To access this screen:

  2. Add at least 1 stockpile. See Manage Stockpiles.

  3. Select the stockpile to manage.

  4. Click Set.

This screen is used to define per-period stockpile reclaim, recovery and rehandling costs.

Activity steps

  1. Display the Variable Stockpile Constraints popup.

  2. Choose the stockpile to manage using the Select list.

  3. Click into the End Period cell to pick the final (inclusive) period to which the variable stockpile constraints apply. See Scheduling Setup: Periods.

  4. Define the Max Reclaim for the period range. This is a positive value and will represent the unit set on the Mining Rates screen.

Note: The current mining rate unit is shown in brackets in the header cell of the table.

  5. Enter a custom SP Recovery Adjustment for the period range.

Note: This is a multiplier adjustment of product recovery. Its purpose is to account for ore being exposed to air and is applicable to ore types where recovery properties may improve or deteriorate. Appropriate values range between 0.80 and 1.10.

  6. Enter a per-period-range Re-handling Cost. This is expressed in dollars per tonne.

  7. Click + to add a new row to the table.

  8. Repeat for other period ranges.

  9. Click outside of the popup to return to the Stockpiles screen.
