Export/Import of Template Samples

Template samples are automatically included in distribution if:

  • Samples are exported/imported:

    CCSAMPLE.DUP_ORIGINAL_SAMPLE_ID = CCSAMPLE.ID

    CCSAMPLE.PARENT_SAMPLE_ID = CCSAMPLE.ID

    CCSAMPLE.SPIKE_ORIGINAL_SAMPLE_ID = CCSAMPLE.ID

    CCSAMPLE.SPLIT_ORIGINAL_SAMPLE_ID = CCSAMPLE.ID

The following data is included when a Sample record is exported/imported:

  • All fields in the record, except for those specified as being cleared, and Creation User and Last Mod User which are cleared also.
    • Laboratory (should be empty anyway since only org-scope template samples can be approved for export)

    • Client

    • Project

    • Contact

    • Cost centre

    • Order number

    • Quote

    • Sample point

    • QC mask

    • Parent sample

    • Duplicate original sample

    • Spike original sample

    • Split original sample

    • Fixed price currency

    • Possible date

    • Agreed date

    • Owner user

    • Owner changed date

    • Reception user

    • Registration user

    • Activated by user

    • Started date

    • Released date

    • Released by user

    • Validated date

    • Validated by user

    • Completed date

    • Completed by use

    • Authorisation user

    • Last report

    • Last reported date

    • Price book

    • Last invoice

    • Finalised date

    • Finalisation user

    • Last archived date

    • Archived by user

  • Specific links to other records are maintained, and the linked record is exported/imported if it does not already exist in the destination organisation.
    • Job, as Job record with minimal job information:

      • Job Code
      • Job Name
      • Job Description
      • Client ID (generate new ID)
      • Job Type (fixed as Template)
    • Job Scheme, as Job Scheme records—only export scheme records that are used in the approved sample template

    • Job Scheme Analyte, as Job Scheme Analyte records—only export scheme version analyte records that are used in the approved sample template

    • Primary QC type, secondary QC type, as QC Type record

    • Standard, as Standard record—for samples linked to a standard

    • Product, as Product record—for samples linked to a product

    • Sample specifications, as Sample Specification record—for samples with specifications

    • Registration text, analysis text, report text, product specification result, as Text record

    • Authorisation user group, as User Group record

    • Organisation, as Organisation record

  • Related child or group member records are exported/imported.
  • All related EFS files (for example, scripts, images) are exported/imported.
  • All related custom attributes and related content are exported/imported.
  • All related I18n records are exported/imported for all exported/imported records.
