Generate Holidays

Create a holiday calendar.

Activity steps:

  1. Home ribbon >> Project Settings >> Calendars >> Scheduling Calendars.

    The Scheduling Calendars screen displays.

  2. Using the Calendar list toolbar, either pick an existing calendar or click New to create a new one.
  3. Click Generate.
  4. Select the start and end dates (e.g. 1 Jan 2013 - 31 Dec 2020) over which to generate the holidays.
  5. Check Repeat day of the weekto repeat the pattern for every week in the selected date range.
  6. Set the frequency of the generation, say, every 1 week.
  7. Select the days of the week to apply the working periods to, for example, Sunday.
  8. Check Change selected days to holidays.
  9. Change selections and generate other periods, or click Close to exit the screen.
