Scheduling Calendars: Detailed Downtime
To display this screen:
-
Display the Scheduling Calendars screen and select the Detailed Downtime tab.
The Detailed Downtime screen offers an alternative method to setting up a scheduling calendar. If active, you can only use the Detailed Downtime screen to edit a calendar.
Warning: If you generate downtime events using this screen, then deactivate this mode, you will lose previously-generated downtime events.
Checking Use detailed downtime activates an operating mode. After confirmation, the current events in the calendar (generated using the other tabs) are transferred to this screen and displayed in the detailed format.
At this point, the fields on the General and Holidays/Exceptions tabs of the Scheduling Calendars screen become mostly read-only (the exception is Duration Conversions settings).
There are two panels on the Detailed Downtime screen:
-
Tabular – Show downtime data in an editable table, with downtime and working times displayed in ascending chronological order throughout the calendar. Each calendar record, in addition to setting the Type, Start Date/Time and End Date/Time, can be assigned a Category (a predefined Downtime Code).
You can edit existing calendar entries or create new ones by appending the table.
You also use this tab to define a repeating downtime pattern on particular week days.
-
Graphical – Show working and downtime events in a grid, with each grid block coloured according to a downtime or working time category.
