Task Information: Categories

To access this screen:

  • Display the Task Information screen and select the Categories tab.

DTS allows the physical properties of a task (the spatial object related to the task) to be organized by material category, using the Task Information screen's Categories tab.

To associate material categories with a task:

  1. Display the Categories screen.

    Each defined material category is listed in the table.

    Note: Material categories are defined as part of your project settings,

  2. For each Category, either accept default values or specify:

    • Quantity – The task's quantity associated with the material category. Read-only.

    • Generic Destination – If a Replaceable destination has been configured (see Destinations Settings), you can select it here.

    • Destination – Choose the destination of the material task's material category. See Destinations.

  3. Click OK to update the task.

  4. Save your project.
