Centric Analytics Configuration
To use Centric analytics, Enable Centric Integration must be checked in the Options screen of the MineMarket Client. See Enable Centric Analytics Integration.
Analytics Warehouse Connections
Centric analytics integration with MineMarket requires an Analytics Warehouse connection. Centric's Analytics Warehouse is a centralised repository that aggregates and organises data from multiple sources into a consistent, structured format designed for analysis and reporting. The Analytics Warehouse connection in Centric specifies the connection to the MineMarket database.
The Analytics Warehouse connection can be created:
- As a prerequisite activity in the Centric application (outside the scope of the MineMarket documentation).
- From MineMarket via a report connection. See Create a Centric Analytics Warehouse Connection from MineMarket.
Analytics Connections
After creating the Centric Analytics Warehouse connection, an analytics connection for Centric integration must be created in MineMarket. The analytics connection in MineMarket specifies the connection and authentication details for Centric. See Create an Analytics Connection for Centric Integration.
Analysis Objects
Data analysis in Centric uses analysis objects called 'facts' and 'dimensions'.
- Facts—Reflect quantitative measures, such as extraction tonnage, metal content, or sales revenue.
- Dimensions—Define the context, such as where the ore was extracted, what type of ore was processed, or when shipments were delivered.
Facts and dimensions are combined to visualise key metrics and trends, such as total ore extracted, average grade, or sales revenue by region.
MineMarket objects can be mapped for use in Centric as facts and/or dimensions. See Map Analysis Objects for Centric Integration.
After being mapped and synchronised, MineMarket analysis objects can be used to build data analysis components, such as charts, graphs and tables in Centric. These components are grouped in custom screens called 'dashboards', which can be displayed as embedded web pages in the MineMarket Client. See Centric Analytics.
Note: How to use Centric to create dashboards is outside the scope of the MineMarket documentation. See Centric's in-application help or refer to any site-specific documentation supplied during your Centric implementation.
