Transferring Licenses

All relevant computers must be linked via a network, and the Network License Server must be running on the server.

Start the License Manager on the client (receiving) computer.
Ensure that there is a connection to a Remote Server.
Select the required license from the server license list - right-click and select Check Out (F2).
Set the check-out period for the license by selecting either the number of days, or a date.

The maximum period for which a license can be checked-out is 120 days.

The license is checked-out to the requesting computer. This is displayed in the Checked Out To and Check Out Expires columns in the License Manager. The check-out is shown in the license listings on both computers, and acts as a local license on the machine it is checked out to.
