  • In the main menu, select Tools |Options.
  • In the Options dialog, select the  Windows Firewalltab.

 

Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Vista

The arrival of Windows XP SP2 saw an increase in network security. By default, it closes all access ports to the system including the License Services port. This has continued with Windows Vista.

 

Add

Adds License Services to the Windows Firewall exceptions list.

Remove

Removes License Services from the Windows Firewall exceptions list.
