Project Data Control Bar - 3D Folder
The 3D "World" folder of the Project Data control bar can be used to set view properties for all loaded georeferenced 3D data, access object-specific properties, and load/unload data from memory.
Whilst this 3D view is used to view georeferenced map data, it is also used for displaying 3D reference data such as drillholes, drive wireframes and so on (potentially from a variety of different sources and data types).
Right-clicking any item in this menu section will display a corresponding 3D Properties dialog. These dialogs provide controls for visual formatting of objects in the 3D world display.

Data Visibility
Items in this section of the Project Data bar can be hidden and shown using their corresponding check box. These check boxes can also be used to globally hide or show 'branches' of the tree menu.
At the lowest level, data items will either be displayed or hidden, as indicated by a black tick or empty box.
Folders containing items can be one of three states:
-
: all items in the folder are currently displayed
-
: all items in the folder are currently hidden
-
: a grey tick indicates a mixture of displayed and hidden items is contained within this folder
For example, to hide all currently displayed feature data from a map, you can clear the check box next to the Features folder icon for that map.
"3D" Sub-Folders
The Project Data control bar's 3D window sub-folders (one is displayed for every open 3D window) is split into the following categories:
3D folders will only be displayed if they contain overlay data for at least 1 object, otherwise they will be hidden. |
-
Map Data: contains georeferenced map data, segregated by map name, with a sub-folder for each map data type. More...
-
Other Data: 3D reference data objects are listed here. This data can be any visual data type, in Datamine or other formats.
Right-click any object to display its corresponding 3D Properties dialog (or you can double-click the item to do the same):
3D Data items in this area are supported by both a Properties and Look At function. The latter will orient the camera to point to the selected item. |
