Stockpile General Settings

Define general stockpile settings

Stockpile General Settings

To access this dialog:

  • In the Scheduling Setupdialog, select or add a stockpile destination type and enable the Stockpile Settings tab.

The Stockpile Settings panel is used to define the general details for a stockpile. It represents some of the settings defined for a stockpile destination type.

Field Details:

Name: read only, the unique name for the stockpile.

BLOCKID: read only, the unique mining block identifier for the stockpile.

Maximum Reclaim: enter a mass value (tonnes) for the maximum reclaim rate per scheduling period. This period can be defined within this dialog as days/weeks/years or (the default) a nominated scheduling period.

Prefer to mine later: tick this box if the stockpile is to be mined after any available mining block material.

Reclaim Loaders: specify which defined loader(s) are permitted to reclaim from the current stockpile. Loaders are defined as described here. The general aim is to minimise movement in and out of the pit as the loader goes between reclaim and in pit mining.

Reclaim Destinations: define allowable destinations for the stockpile's material.

Destination: read only, unique name for a destination.

Enabled: select [YES] to allow the destination; select [NO] (default) to prevent stockpile material going to this destination.

Weighting: Enter a value for the weighting factor (range typically 0 to 10).

The values defined in the Weighting field are used when the Blend function is used.

Low values indicate a low priority. The blending equations are set up with these values, each variable weighted by the corresponding number. If you want more of a certain category you increase the weighting. If you want more material to go to a destination then you increase all of the weighting factors for that Destination relative to other destinations.
