Use the Mine panel to define non-working days and downtime for the whole mine.

A Mine calendar controls downtime for all schedule components, for example during shutdowns or non-working hours.

Excel Data

Date, time and duration calendar data can be copied from Excel into the Non-Working Days grid and the Non-Standard Days grid.

Create a new row using Add, place the cursor in the first cell that will contain the copied data, then paste.

Activity Steps:

  1. Display the Mine Calendar screen.

  2. In the Non-Working Days grid or Non-Standard Days grid, select Add.

  3. If you are defining non-standard days (downtime events), you can also select Add Multiple to add multiple dates using a recurring pattern.

  4. On the Define Time Period screen, set From and To, then select OK.

  5. To remove days, select one or more rows in the relevant grid, then select Remove.

  6. To paste data from Excel, create a new row using Add, select the first destination cell, then paste.

  7. For non-working periods, review the From Date, To Date and Duration columns in the Non-Working Days grid.

  8. For downtime events, review the Date, From Time, To Time and Duration columns in the Non-Standard Days grid.

To add multiple non-standard days/downtimes:

You can quickly define a pattern of downtime events using the Define Multiple Time Periods screen.

  1. In the Mine Calendar screen, Non-Standard Days (Downtime) section, select Add Multiple.

  2. In the Define Multiple Time Periods dialog, enter the start (From) and end (To) downtime phase.

  3. Choose the daily Pattern of the downtime event (Daily, Weekly and so on.)

  4. Choose the duration of the recurring downtime pattern. You can choose to End by a particular date (meaning downtime will not be applied on the specified date) or you can define a number of occurrences, after which the downtime pattern is cancelled.

  5. Click OK to add all downtime dates and times for the specified range and pattern to the Mine Calendar screen.

Dates are added to the Mine Calendar, appending any dates already there.
