Set up calendars to define Time Periods

Calendars (Time Periods)

To access this panel:

The Calendars dialog's Time Periods tab is used to generate calendar time periods.

The Periods table is displayed here. Periods are consecutive lengths of time in which scheduling can be performed. A label can be generated containing various pre-set variables such as week day, start time, etc.  These label options are accessed within Period Format via the context menu and must be selected prior to generation.

 

Field Details:

Start Date/Time: select a start date/time from the dropdown.

Period Length: enter a value for the period length (units in next field).

Period Format: select a period format from the dropdown, or select Edit... to add, edit or delete period formats using the Period Formats dialog.

Number of Periods: enter a value for the total number of periods to be generated.

Generate: generate a set of time periods based on the defined parameters.

Delete Last: remove the lowest entry in the calendar table below.

Delete All: clear the current set of time periods listed in the Time Periods grid.

Time Periods grid: displays the currently defined time periods and their associated properties.
