Create an Initiation Pattern

Activity Steps

1. Select the Initiation module.
2. Right-click a charge pattern or blast pattern in the DataBlast Items Tree and select Add Initiation Pattern from the menu.

   The Initiation Pattern screen displays.

3. Enter a Name. Default: Concatenation of IN_ and the currently displayed active charge pattern or blast pattern, if applicable.
4. Click OK.

   The initiation pattern displays in the Viewport.

5. Click Save Changes.
6. Add holes. See Add or Remove Holes in an Initiation Pattern.
7. If the initiation pattern is non-electric, add an initiation point and timing. See Tie up a Non-Electric Initiation Pattern.
8. If the initiation pattern is electronic:
   1. Add X/Y zones if required. See Maintain X/Y Zones in an Electronic Initiation Pattern.
   2. Add timing. See Add Contour Line Timing to an Electronic Initiation Pattern, Add Egg Timing to an Electronic Initiation Pattern, Add Box Timing to an Electronic Initiation Pattern or Add Incremental Timing to an Electronic Initiation Pattern.
   3. Wire up the initiation pattern. See Wire up an Electronic Initiation Pattern.
