Domain Security Rights - Contracts
Note: The following security rights only apply to objects in the domain(s) to which the user group is assigned. See Domains. Sometimes a combination of security rights is required for an activity. If in doubt, check the security note in the activity. Status Definitions may also limit which objects are selectable or editable.
Allow contract maintenance
If assigned:
- The Solution Explorer context menu options to create any type of contract for organisations or companies; to create, rename and delete contract template categories; and to create, duplicate, rename and delete contract templates display.
- Users can create, duplicate and delete any type of contract via the Contract Explorer or the Contracts tab of any Organisation, Company or District.
- Users can edit the header and general details of any Sales Contract, Sales Order Form, Purchase Contract, Repurchase Contract, Service Contract, Freight Contract or Finance Service Contract.
- Users can create, edit and delete status transitions for sales or purchase contracts.
- Users can edit the basis, contacts and default values of sales or purchase contracts.
- Users can create, copy, edit and delete sets of contract terms of sales or purchase contracts.
- Users can create, copy, edit and delete contract products and quotas for sales and purchase contracts.
- Users can edit contract product and quota specifications or synchronise specifications to despatch orders.
- Users can create, edit and delete contract links between sales and purchase contract products or quotas.
- Users can create, edit and delete contract options for contract products.
- Users can create, edit and delete costs and pricing details in repurchase contracts.
- Users can create buyback actions for repurchase contracts.
- Users can allocate packages to open and buyback actions in repurchase contracts.
- Users can create, copy, edit and delete contract rates in service, freight and finance contracts.
- Users can create, copy, edit and delete sets of payments terms, demurrage/despatch conditions and taxes in service and freight contracts.
- Users can link, edit and remove documents on any contract type.
Allow dynamic invoice items maintenance
If assigned, users can create, edit and delete dynamic line items in any invoice type. However, even if this security right is unassigned, users can edit the names of existing dynamic line items.
Allow invoice maintenance
If assigned, users can:
- Create, lock, unlock, revert and delete any type of invoice via the Invoice Explorer.
- Create sales and purchase invoices for uninvoiced repurchase actions via a Repurchase Contract.
- Create, lock, unlock and maintain journal entries for batches of invoices via the Invoice Batch Processing screen.
- Edit, lock, unlock and maintain journal entries for any Sales Invoice, Credit Note, Purchase Invoice, Purchase Credit Note, Demurrage Invoice, Freight Invoice, Freight Commission Invoice, Freight Demurrage Invoice, Freight Demurrage Commission Invoice, Service Invoice or Service Demurrage Invoice.
- Override weight and assay values, contributor details, pricing details, despatch lot samples, demurrage/despatch details, payment conditions and payment details in any invoice.
- Record invoice despatch documents and the receipt of issued invoice documents for any invoice.
- Create, edit and delete status transitions for any invoice.
Allow invoice deletion
If assigned, users can:
- Delete any invoice via the Invoice Explorer.
- Delete unlocked invoices of repurchase actions via a Repurchase Contract.
Allow searching of despatch orders through Despatch Order Explorer
If assigned, the Despatch Orders icon displays on the Sales and Marketing ribbon tab, enabling access to the Despatch Order Explorer.
Allow searching of payments through Payment Explorer
If assigned, the Payments icon displays on the Sales and Marketing ribbon tab, enabling access to the Payment Explorer.
Allow the user to control whether despatch orders are fulfilled
If assigned, users can edit the Fulfilled checkbox of any Despatch Order and via the Despatch Order table of any contract or despatch screen.
Allow the user to create despatch orders
If assigned, users can create despatch orders via the Despatch Order Explorer; via the Despatch Orders or the Despatch Orders tab of a Quota node in any Sales Contract or Purchase Contract; and via the Despatch Orders table of a Shipment or Lot Despatch.
Allow the user to create freight commission invoices
If assigned, users can create freight commission invoices and freight demurrage commission invoices via the Invoice Explorer.
Allow the user to delete contracts
If assigned, users can delete contracts via the Contract Explorer and the Contracts tab of any Organisation, Company or District.
Allow the user to delete despatch orders
If assigned, users can delete despatch orders via the Despatch Order Explorer; and via the Despatch Orders node or the Despatch Orders tab of a Quota node in any Sales Contract or Purchase Contract.
Allow the user to duplicate contracts
If assigned, users can duplicate contracts via the Contract Explorer and the Contracts tab of any Organisation, Company or District.
Allow the user to maintain contract charge templates
If assigned, users can create, edit, rename and delete templates on the Contract Charge Templates screen.
Allow the user to maintain contract fulfillments
If assigned, users can retrieve and clear assays; and edit assay exchange data and additional dates on the Contract Fulfilment node of any Sales Contract or Purchase Contract. If unassigned, users can view assay exchange data.
Allow the user to maintain contract link templates
If assigned, the Solution Explorer context menu options to create, rename and delete contract link template categories; and to create, rename and delete contract link templates display.
Allow the user to maintain cost templates
If assigned:
- The Solution Explorer context menu options to create, rename and delete cost template categories display.
- Users can create, edit and delete any cost template via the Cost Template Category screen.
Allow the user to maintain costs
If assigned, users can add, paste, edit and delete any service, freight or finance costs (or budgeted costs) on the:
- Costs tab of the Service Charges node of any Sales Contract or Purchase Contract
- Service Charges node of any Contract Template
- Service Charges tab or Contract Term Overrides tab of any Despatch Order
- Service Charges tab of any despatch or despatch template
Allow the user to maintain data link templates
If assigned:
- The Solution Explorer context menu options to create, rename and delete data link template categories; and to create, rename, duplicate and delete data link templates display.
- Users can edit any Data Link Template.
Allow the user to maintain despatch orders
If assigned, users can:
- Create, duplicate and delete despatch orders via the Despatch Order Explorer; and via the Despatch Orders node and the Despatch Orders tab of a Quota node in any Sales Contract or Purchase Contract.
- Create despatch orders on the Despatch Orders sub-tab of the Marketing tab of a Shipment and the Despatch Orders tab of a Lot Despatch.
- Edit the name or data on any tab (except the Hedge Actions tab) of any Despatch Order; and via any Despatch Orders table throughout the MineMarket user interface.
- Add and remove despatch orders on a Train, Truck Despatch, Service Trip or Shipment.
- Link or unlink despatch orders, and synchronise specifications and certain fields across linked despatch orders.
- Create child despatch orders and remove child despatch orders from a parent despatch order, and edit parent despatch order configuration.
- Submit despatch orders for credit approval; and deny credit for despatch orders; and override credit control for despatch orders.
- Allocate despatch orders to a contract rate via a Service Contract or Freight Contract.
- Edit despatch order required quantities via a Plan.
- Calculate blends for despatch orders.
Allow the user to override assay rules for despatch orders
If assigned:
- The Override Assay Rules checkbox is editable on the Contract Term Overrides tab of any Despatch Order.
- Users can create, edit and delete assay rule overrides.
Allow the user to override bank details for despatch orders
If assigned, users can create, edit and delete data on the Banking Detail Overrides tab of any Despatch Order.
Allow the user to override contract charges for despatch orders
If assigned:
- The Override Contract Charges checkbox is editable on the Contract Term Overrides tab of any Despatch Order.
- Users can create, edit and delete contract charge overrides.
Allow the user to override demurrage/despatch conditions for despatch orders
If assigned:
- The Override Demurrage/Despatch checkbox is editable on the Contract Term Overrides tab of any Despatch Order.
- Users can create, edit and delete demurrage/despatch overrides.
Allow the user to override invoice fields for despatch orders
If assigned:
- The Override Invoice Fields checkbox is editable on the Contract Term Overrides tab of any Despatch Order.
- Users can create, edit and delete invoice field overrides.
Allow the user to override quotation pricing for despatch orders
If assigned:
- The Override Quotation Pricing checkbox is editable on the Contract Term Overrides tab of any Despatch Order.
- Users can create, edit and delete quotation pricing overrides.
Allow the user to override service charges for despatch orders
If assigned:
- The Override Service Charges checkbox is editable on the Contract Term Overrides tab of any Despatch Order.
- Users can create, edit and delete cost or service charge overrides.
Allow the user to override tolling details for despatch orders
If assigned:
- The Override Tolling Details checkbox is editable on the Contract Term Overrides tab of any Despatch Order.
- Users can create, edit and delete tolling overrides.
Allow the user to print invoice reports
If assigned, users can:
- Print invoice reports from any invoice screen.
- Print invoices as a batch from the Invoice Explorer or from the Invoice Batch Processing screen.
Allow the user to recalculate despatch order snapshots on the MineMarket Client
If assigned, when a user queues the most recent default snapshot of an individual despatch order for recalculation and clicks Save, the snapshot is recalculated immediately on the MineMarket Client as well as being queued for recalculation using the MineMarket Marketing Service. This security right has no effect on the recalculation of:
- Historical despatch order snapshots
- Despatch order snapshots specific to an invoice type
- Snapshots for mark-to-market (MTM), quotas or trade profit and loss
- The most recent despatch order snapshot when the recalculation is triggered; for example, by a change to the contract terms
Allow the user to search for invoices
If assigned:
- The Invoices icon displays on the Sales and Marketing ribbon tab, enabling access to the Invoice Explorer.
- The global search functionality displays invoices.
Allow the user to select assays for assay exchange
If assigned, the Analyte Values Selection tab displays on the Contract Fulfilment node of any Sales Contract or Purchase Contract for which multiple laboratories are configured in the assay rules of the applicable set of contract terms.
Allow the user to update both buyer and seller results in assay exchanges
If assigned, users can edit the Seller Result for any Sales Contract and the Buyer Result for any Purchase Contract on the Assay Exchange and Final Analyte Results tabs of the Contract Fulfilment node.
