Unfold Wizard: Validate Tab

To access this dialog:

Activate the Structure ribbon and click Unfold .
In the Unfold Wizard dialog, select the Validate tab.

Field Details:

Validate: allows you to either view quads and all samples in the World Coordinate System, or just the successfully unfolded samples in the Unfolded Coordinate System. Selecting either World Coordinate System or Unfolded Coordinate System results in different options being shown in this group.

World Coordinate System: if selected, then quads and all samples can be shown in the 3D window using the World Coordinate System. ClickDisplayto update the view after selecting one or more available options.

Quads: allows you to view theBetween Sectionand/orWithin Sectionstrings in the 3D Window.

All: shows both the Between SectionandWithin Sectionstrings.

Between Section: shows only the Between Sectionstrings.

Within Section: shows only the Within Sectionstrings.

Successfully unfolded samples: if selected, then the samples that were successfully unfolded by the Unfold operation are shown. The total number of these samples is shown by this field.

Samples not successfully unfolded: if selected, then the samples that were not successfully unfolded by the Unfold operation are shown. The total number of these samples is shown by this field.

Unfolded Coordinate System: if selected, then the successfully unfolded samples are shown in the 3D window using the Unfolded Coordinate System. ClickDisplayto update the view after selecting one or more available options.

Successfully unfolded samples: if selected, then the samples that were successfully unfolded by the Unfold operation are shown. A legend can be specified to show the values associated with each grade in the samples file.

Display a legend for the unfolded samples as follows:

In the Sheets control bar, expand the 3D / Points folder.
Right-click samps1_up (points) and select Display Legend.

Display: updates the view in the 3D window. ClickDisplayafter selecting or deselecting any of the options in theValidategroup.

Edit Strings: loads the Create Unfolding Strings tab to allow you to edit the tag strings.
