Set Destination Targets
Define targets for any production field and destination combination.
Targets are specified by defining a low and high value, from a particular schedule date. The scheduler will attempt to meet the target range set (providing constraints aren't violated).
Note: You can also define destination targets using the Targets screen.
Activity steps:
- Display the Project Settings screen.
- Using the vertical menu system, select Destinations.
- Select a destination and select the Targets tab.
-
Select or create a destination. See Destinations Settings.
The Targets screen updates to show target details of the selected destination.
- Select a production field on the left.
- For the selected field, choose the time unit(s) in which to achieve the target value:
- In Per period enter the number of time units, then pick the time unit (Minutes, Hours, Days and so on).
- Click into Date From and pick a date at which the target becomes effective. Essentially, this is the start date from which the Low and High targets apply (see below).
- Enter a Low (the value below which the Target is flagged as low) and High (specifies the value above which the Target is flagged as high) value.
- Click OK or Apply.
