Resource Information: Actuals

Double click a resource in the the Crosstab or Resource Bar Chart views.
Right-click the Resource Bar Chart table and select Insert Resource.

Use the Actuals tab to record actual production values for a resource against a production property. You can also review the planned value and the total actual value for the selected property.

This tab records actuals on resources for production properties that are already set up in the project.

Note: The ID displayed on this screen represents the resource index for the project. It's not editable, or that important really, as you'll typically assign a resource by its name.

Activity steps:

Display the Actuals screen.
In the list of production properties shown on the right of the screen, select the production property that records actuals for the resource.

The other fields on the screen update when a field is selected.
Review Total to see the actual production total currently associated with the resource. You can't edit this value.
Review Planned to compare the planned production value for the resource. You can't edit this value.
In Reading Date, select the date when the reading was taken. Use the calendar control if required.
In Actual Value, enter the value recorded for the selected production property.
Click OK to save your changes and close the screen, or use the rest of the Resource Information screen to continue setting up your resource.
Save your project.
