Haul Routes: Intersections

To access this screen:

  • Using the Scheduling Setup screen, select the Haul Routes icon on the left, then select the Intersections tab.

Use the Intersections tab to define haul route intersection node parameters. This is part of the settings used to define haul routes.

Intersections are additional node points where a road splits. You can place an intersection between any other node, and you can define multiple intersections.

Intersection nodes are entered in the same way as bench exits and pit exits. All nodes are stored in the Nodes object, which is automatically loaded when you start your application.

Activity steps:

  1. Display the Intersections screen.

  2. To add an intersection, click Add.

  3. In the Intersections grid, define the required parameters.

    • Node ID – Unique intersection node identifier.

    • X Coord – Intersection node X coordinate.

    • Y Coord – Intersection node Y coordinate.

    • Z Coord – Intersection node Z coordinate.

  4. To use an existing node points file, click Select Object.

  5. On the Select Object screen, select the required node points file.

  6. Click Save to save the nodes.

Note: To delete an intersection, select the intersection, then click Delete.
