Haul Routes: Pit Exits

To access this screen:

  • Using the Scheduling Setup screen, select the Haul Routes icon on the left, then select the Pit Exits tab.

Use the Pit Exits tab to define haul route pit exit node parameters. This is part of the settings used to define haul routes.

You can enter the pit exit location using X, Y and Z coordinates, or read the location from a Datamine object loaded in the 3D window.

Define at least one pit exit using its Pit Exit ID so your application can construct a haul route from the block to the destination.

Activity steps:

  1. Display the Pit Exits screen.

  2. To add a pit exit, click Add.

  3. In the Pit Exits grid, define the required parameters.

    • Node ID – Unique pit exit node identifier.

    • X Coord – Pit exit node X coordinate.

    • Y Coord – Pit exit node Y coordinate.

    • Z Coord – Pit exit node Z coordinate.

  4. To use an existing nodes points file, click Select Object, then select the required file on the Select Object screen.

  5. If you use pushbacks, make sure the pit exit is only valid when the pushback number for the block being scheduled matches the pushback number in the Pit Exits table.

  6. This accounts for pit exits being mined out as the pit expands, so pit exits only become available when a pushback commences.

  7. If a pit exit is used by blocks that belong to more than one pushback, repeat the pit exit for each pushback.

  8. Click Save to save the nodes.

Note: To delete a pit exit, select the pit exit, then click Delete.
