Network License Server Options

To display this screen:

Display the Options screen and click the Network License Server tab.

Specify the TCP/IP port used as Datamine licensing 'traffic' is routed over an internal network.

All servers, and the License Manager must use identical port numbers in order to communicate with each other, and these ports must permit 2-way traffic. It is strongly recommended that the default value of '43210' is used, unless there is a valid reason for using another value, such as a conflict or firewall setting.

Client Server options available on this screen:

Allow licenses to be served to clients

MUST be enabled if the current PC is a license server.

Enable enterprise features

Allow license permissions to be set and limit the distribution of licenses or solutions to particular users or groups.

Use SSL/TLS

Datamine License Services supports both non-encrypted and encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) traffic options. To ensure data is encrypted, check Use SSL/TLS. Appropriate digital certification must be available and configured.
